Health and safety at Abu Shameh Company

Abu Shama Engineering Company is not only concerned with the level of quality of work it provides through its services, but also in maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for its employees and all those working with it, as well as its visitors, as it is keen to complete its work within an environment free of any danger that may lead to damage or human or injury. Material losses, so the company developed a special safety policy for all employees, summarized as follows:

  • Promoting and creating a safe work environment.
  • Work to spread awareness and provide education and training courses to improve individuals’ understanding of risks at the work site, including safe work practices and emergency procedures.
  • Knowing, identifying and reducing the risks of all types of work activities that involve the possibility of injury.
  • Establishing work methods and ways to prevent accidents in terms of equipping the work site with adequate lighting means, warning signs, the necessary guidance signs, and measures to isolate the site with warning tapes and green cloth curtains.
  • Commitment to the rules of occupational security and safety in carrying out the required work in terms of taking all precautions to protect workers and professionals on site in terms of safety clothing (helmets, glasses, safety shoes, and safety belts for heights...).
  • Investigating incidents, submitting reports and following up on actions taken.

Abu Shameh Engineering Company adopts a zero-error policy in all its projects and services, in cooperation with suppliers and subcontractors, where both parties participate as one team in order to implement the standards specified in the contract documents from beginning to end with regard to the safety of workers, professionals and others, and in the field of environmental safety. The success of the company's business depends on continuously improving its services while protecting its professional staff and reducing negative environmental impacts through:

  • Preventing pollution and noise resulting from work.

  • Contribute to spreading the culture of sustainable development solutions through correct environmental management.
